1º.- PRINCIPLES.

This Policy is a statement of solid principles and ways of acting that any supplier of Paprimur Qingdao must have, where in addition to ensuring high levels of quality, food safety and sustainability, it is also essential that in the obtaining of the products they ensure certain ways of acting in matters such as, for example, compliance with human rights (with special attention to the prohibition of forced and child labour). 

For Paprimur Qingdao it is very important to obtain quality and food-safe products, but it is equally important to know how these products are obtained throughout the supply chain, because for us it is essential not only to produce with the best quality and food safety but also to produce in the way and manner that our business ethics impose on us sustainably.

And it is that our ethics, our way of working and doing business, self-imposes on us the commitment to demand the highest quality and safety of the products that come from any supplier that is part of our supply chain, and, at the same time, demand legal and sustainability standards in the way of obtaining those products, and it is that double requirement (what and how it is obtained) that our suppliers have in obtaining the products or raw materials, it is what is an essential and inseparable part of the high quality and food safety of our products: it is our work philosophy. 

Our products not only have high quality and food safety, but at the same time, in order to be 100% identifiable products of Paprimur Qingdao, they have had to be obtained throughout the supply chain complying with the standards, in a sustainable way, and with respect for rights at Work and Human Rights (with special attention to the prohibition of forced labor and child labor) on which we have a special sensitivity and awareness that we transfer and constantly demand its compliance from our suppliers, who are aware of the strong compliance requirement of Paprimur Qingdao in this matter.

We demand from our suppliers as the main requirements for their selection and subsequent consideration of our suppliers, the same patterns or models of behavior that we demand of ourselves in matters such as Human Rights (especially in the prohibition of forced labor, child labor, and discrimination on any grounds) or in terms of rights at work (such as health and safety at work).

We demand from our suppliers what we demand of ourselves: excellence in all areas of work. Any supplier is aware that working with us has access to a way of working demanding with legality and standards, but at the same time, working with us will identify them as suppliers with responsible, legal and sustainable businesses. 

Our suppliers have to be responsible, comply with the standards and principles of improvement that we have self-imposed. Any Supplier of Paprimur Qingdao knows that at the moment it is accepted as a supplier, it assumes a way of working and standards that are only possible if they comply with the legal norms: a true reflection of this, it is the mandatory compliance with the "Code of Conduct of the Supply Chain of Suppliers of Paprimur Qingdao" that any supplier assumes.

The products that come from our suppliers are controlled according to international standards, controls that are carried out both by us and by third parties in relation to quality, food safety, and in areas that affect sustainability in obtaining the products (including Human Rights and at Work). Any supplier undertakes to collaborate in everything requested by Paprimur Qingdao or any third party on our behalf, to verify any aspect that is deemed necessary. 

For us it is very important to know that the standards are met at any stage of product formation, from the field of cultivation to our facilities, whether in the extraction, production or manufacture of the product or any component thereof. Therefore, our suppliers are not only responsible for their activity and product, but they are also obliged to ensure that their own suppliers assume the commitments and compliance with the rules. They are especially appreciated by us, the suppliers who already have adequate systems in place to monitor and verify compliance with the standards of their own suppliers. 

In short, our products are of very high quality and food safety, because also our way of working is in an ethical way, complying with the standards, in a sustainable way, continuous improvement and improvement in all areas of the company, having at the center of all this the development and quality of life of people, and that is why we demand the same principles and ways of acting from our suppliers, all of which also supposes an automatic benefit for our clients giving them also a confidence that we understand is essential in business. 

2º.- COMMITMENTS OF PAPRIMUR QINGDAO SUPPLIERS: 

Without prejudice to the fact that Paprimur Qingdao suppliers must comply with the "Paprimur Qingdao Supplier Supply Chain Code of Conduct", in this Policy we describe in summary morning some basic principles and specific commitments of action of any Paprimur Qingdao supplier. Our relationship with our suppliers is based on mutual respect and trust, but also on the requirement to comply with the rules in the processes: 

-      to comply with Human Rights, with special attention even more if possible to the prevention and abolition of forced or child labour.

-      comply with labor practices.

-      against corruption.

-      food quality and safety.

-      environment and sustainability.

-      fair operating practices. 

For this, and because of the importance that for us represents the compliance and surveillance of these fundamental matters, any supplier of ours is obliged to comply with these matters: 

-      Human rights.

      -Support, respect and comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, especially those whose violation denigrates workers, rejecting especially forced labor and child labor. 

      -Respect and contribute to eliminating discrimination on any grounds (race, sex, religion or skin color), promoting legality and equal opportunities in the supply chain.

      -The supplier is obliged to know what is happening at all times around the goods or products. It is obliged to act with the utmost diligence possible, in what we could call the "look around" principle, exercising control functions and ensuring compliance with Human Rights relating to any merchandise or part of it, which the supplier obtains directly or through other suppliers.

-      Labor Practices.

While complying with all legal standards, especially in terms of health and safety at work, the best opportunities for professional development will be promoted, with criteria of compliance with the laws, diversity, equality and non-discrimination in all work areas, recognizing the talent, achievements and commitments that promote sustainability in their environment. 

-      Against corruption.

Any supplier is prohibited from paying, offering to pay or authorizing to pay, directly or indirectly, anything of value to any official, political party or anyone acting on behalf of an international public organization to obtain or secure a business, to send business to a third party or to obtain an undue business advantage. 

-      Food Quality and Safet.

Our suppliers, together with us, always have to act looking for and obtaining excellence in quality and safety in all products and areas: this is the best way to clearly and firmly thank our customers for the trust they have placed in us, making that, in an environment of mutual respect and honesty, feel confident and proud that we are part of their supply chain. That is why our suppliers will comply at all times with the high standards of quality and food safety that we demand. 

-      Environment and sustainability.

      -Within the environment that the company acts at all times, promote trade in compliance with environmental standards.

      -Create and promote in the company and its environment, ecological measures in all areas and daily activities, which serve to raise awareness, protect and promote the transcendental importance of the natural environment and environment, carrying out activities in this regard.

      -Promote and encourage the trade of any natural resource related to the activity of the company, to be sustainable. 

All the existing processes in our company, including everything related to our suppliers, have in common among other characteristic elements, to strive to try to balance economic growth, social welfare and care for the environment, always bearing in mind that true progress is to achieve a balance between the way of acting today in our activity and future resources, and all this is only possible if the suppliers also act in this way together with us.

-      Fair and Ethical Trade

Directly related to our suppliers and the supply chain, being business ethics an immovable maxim in our company, so to ensure that business relationships with them are fair and ethical from all aspects including sustainability, we have created a specific Supply Chain and Suppliers Policy, to ensure compliance and legal, fair, ethical and adequate behaviors in all areas of our business partners in this case with our suppliers, this fair and ethical action being the same as our suppliers have to do with theirs. 

3º.- DEVELOPMENT, MONITORING AND CONTROL OF THE POLICY.

This Supplier Policy, its validity, monitoring and updating, has been approved by the Management Body of Paprimur Qingdao Foods, CO., LTD, who through its Manager, will proceed to the supervision of the implementation, management and compliance with its principles and commitments, as well as the evaluation of its degree of achievement. 

This Policy enters into force at the time of its approval, and will be reviewed periodically, and at least annually, by its Commission. 

4º.- DISSEMINATION AND COMMUNICATION.

It corresponds to the Management of Paprimur Qingdao, the actions of dissemination, training, development, execution and communication that they deem necessary for the effective knowledge of this Policy, as well as its eventual dissemination and publication both through the corporate intranet of Paprimur Qingdao Foods, CO., LTD. and on its corporate website.

It is especially important, the communication and knowledge of this Policy by suppliers within the supply chain, in addition to the Supplier and Supply Chain Policy itself. 

Paprimur Qingdao Foods, CO., LTD has at its disposal various channels of communication and participation, and specifically with respect to this Policy, the following email address: compliancechannel@kairun-pp.cn   to disclose any issues (including any breaches) of this Policy. Any communication will be confidential and / or anonymous if required, guaranteeing that it will neverbe and will produce any retaliation derived from the fact of reporting in good faith any infraction and reporting through said channel. 

5º.- APPROVAL.

This Supplier Policy was approved by the Management Body of Paprimur Qingdao Foods, CO., LTD on date August 2022
